Eight-inch covers cinelifters, tactical quads and mid-size multirotors — a Group 1 size that has become a tactical workhorse. The 8×4×3 is built as a drop-in for the Gemfan 8040-3 that those platforms were designed around, offered in polycarbonate and glass-fiber nylon.
Material follows application, not size: glass-fiber-reinforced PA66 where a platform needs stiffness under load, polycarbonate where it needs impact survival and low rotational mass. Several sizes are offered in both.
